The meeting between the nine universities belonging to the CALDO group in Canada and the universities of the Council of Rectors took place at the Pucón campus of the University of La Frontera. The workshop focused on the internationalization of postgraduate education and explored opportunities for collaboration between the two groups of universities. Three interviews with members of the Canadian delegation are presented below.
The first speaker was Alain Boutet, Director of International Relations at Dalhousie University, who addressed the possibilities for collaboration between the two parties. The second was Gary Slater, Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of Ottawa, who spoke about incorporating innovations into doctoral programs. And the third was Nicole Lacasse, who addressed the challenges of finding a suitable strategic partner for exchange and mobility opportunities.
