CRUCH universities analyzed international links

Representatives from the institutions of the Council of Rectors reviewed the actions taken to enable students and academics to connect with the best universities in the world.

The directors of International Relations from the 25 universities of the Council of Rectors (CRUCH) met at the universities of Talca and Católica del Maule in the second meeting of that body, in order to analyze the progress in internationalization and take new steps in the field of mobility.

The event was led by Víctor Cubillos, president of the CRUCH International Relations Committee and rector of the Austral University. Also present were Víctor Fajardo, rector of the University of Magallanes; Diego Durán, rector of the Catholic University of Maule; and Gilda Carrasco, acting rector of the University of Talca.

The meeting was attended by the Regional Director of British Council, Andrew Chadwick, who gave a presentation on the opportunities for cooperation in student and academic mobility between Chile and Great Britain offered by this Council.
