The Council of Rectors of Chilean Universities announces the sad passing of the former Secretary General of the institution, Mr. Carlos Lorca Auger (RIP).

Sociologist from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, who professionally excelled in activities related to the Sociology of Organizations and Human Resources Planning.

We share with the university community the loss of our General Secretary, who served from August 1991 to August 2010.

His remains are being laid in state at the San Pedro de las Condes Parish, located at Avenida Isabel La Católica 4360, Las Condes, where a mass will be held tomorrow, Tuesday the 9th, at 2:00 PM. Following the mass, his funeral will take place at the Parque del Recuerdo Cemetery in the Recoleta district of Santiago.
