María Teresa Marshall, executive director of the Council of Rectors, visited important universities in California (USA), within the framework of the Chile California Program and the strengthening of bilateral relations for the development of strategic alliances at the postgraduate level.

Within the framework of the Chile-California Program, the executive director of the Council of Rectors of Chilean Universities (CRUCH), María Teresa Marshall, visited the University of Berkeley to analyze opportunities for doctoral internship and postdoctoral scholarships for graduate students from the universities of the Council of Rectors, meeting with Professor Sam Castañeda, who showed special interest in visiting our universities and making known the opportunities in the California public university system.

She also held a meeting with the University of San Francisco, as they are looking to establish a mobility program for nurses.

Finally, he had a full agenda at the University of California, Davis, organized by the Chile-University of California, Davis Program, directed by Professor Jorge Rojas and Professor Lovell Jarvis. The agenda included meetings with the director of the admissions system, the international relations team, the dean of the Graduate School, and the dean of the College of Agriculture. He also gave a brief presentation on the state of higher education in Chile during this period. This visit is expected to strengthen academic collaboration between our universities.
