 93,574 applicants were selected through the CRUCH admission process.

The application process for the 25 traditional universities and the eight private universities affiliated with the Chilean University Council (CRUCH) Admissions System was a success. 25,761 more students were selected through this process than in 2011. This increase is due to the addition of eight private universities to the system.

Of the 8,094 young people who applied using their scores from last year's University Selection Tests (PSU), the 83% was admitted to one of the universities affiliated with the system. The students will be notified of their application results tonight at 11:00 PM on the respective university websites.
