The members of the group presented documents prepared based on the analysis of the University Selection Tests.
The academics who are members of the Technical Advisory Committee (CTA) of the Council of Rectors of Chilean Universities (CRUCH) presented yesterday the series of studies 2010, prepared from the analysis of the University Selection Tests (PSU).
At the Extension Center of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, the Council of Rectors, through the Technical Advisory Committee for the PSU, presented this publication which includes five documents obtained from the analysis of the PSU, prepared to supervise the transparency, transversality and reliability of the selection process.
The event was attended by the Rector of the University of Chile, Víctor Pérez Vera, who highlighted the contribution of the publications. Academics David Bravo and Jorge Manzi, members of the Technical Advisory Committee, presented three of the published studies: "Differential Validity and Bias in the Predictiveness of the Chilean University Admission Tests (PSU)"; "Academic Excellence Scholarships and Relative Performance of the Beneficiaries in the First Year at the Universities of the Council of Rectors"; and "Results of the Application of University Selection Tests 2006-2010".
This selection of five publications also includes the documents "Simce-PSU Tests" and "Scale Alignment Procedures for the Science Test".
