Applicant Profile
Aimed at professionals primarily in the fields of architecture, engineering, and construction, or other related areas, this program seeks to facilitate their entry into or advancement within the job market, or to enable them to develop entrepreneurial ventures through innovative applications that address current challenges in the architecture, construction, and engineering industries, both in the public and private sectors. Therefore, participants should demonstrate an interest in technological development, innovation, and optimizing creative and production processes.
Applicants to the program must have one of the following profiles:
i. Have verifiable experience in infrastructure or building projects,
ii. Use BIM technologies in the areas of architecture, construction and engineering,
iii. Explore the use of BIM methodologies for greater professional and personal development.
Graduate profile
Graduates of the UTEM Master's Program in BIM Technologies are able to contribute to the development of the productive sector, specifically the construction, architecture, and engineering industries, in both the public and private sectors. This is achieved through the application of specialized theoretical and practical knowledge of BIM technologies. To this end, they design, implement, and evaluate project solutions based on these tools, incorporating a high level of technology and innovation, within the areas of BIM Adoption, BIM Application Development for AEC, and Digital Manufacturing.
In their professional development, they will implement the institutional hallmarks of sustainability, technology, and social responsibility through energy performance simulation, the use of high-level technologies, and working with vulnerable populations in matters related to the disciplines of the program.
He works autonomously and collaboratively in creation or innovation activities related to BIM modeling and management, and the management of information exchange between platforms, fitting himself appropriately into his work in the various BIM roles he assumes in professional contexts.
