goals

The Master of Science in Engineering program aims to introduce professionals to research training in science and technology, enabling them to solve relevant problems in one of the research areas developed by the program's academics.

Applicant Profile

Application Requirements. The regulations for the postgraduate program in engineering sciences stipulate the following application requirements: Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree or another academic degree or professional university title in engineering or a related discipline, at least equivalent to the level required for a Bachelor's degree. Furthermore, the applicant's proposed research area must be compatible with those currently being developed at UC Engineering. The program is based on collaborative work between a supervising professor and a student in a defined area of specialization; therefore, a certain degree of shared interests is required. This last point means that admission cannot be guaranteed for all qualified applicants. Therefore, it is highly recommended to contact a professor working in the area of interest before applying. The following link provides a list of UC Engineering faculty members grouped by academic area. Applicants must also have sufficient English proficiency to read articles and books and access international documents and databases.
