goals
To strengthen Educational Psychology in the country as an applied discipline, generating high-quality knowledge to understand the various phenomena of the Chilean educational system and to guide intervention practices in this field.
To contribute to the training of researchers with the ability to construct a critical and creative discourse that contributes to the development of both new basic epistemologies and better public policies in education
Applicant Profile
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a professional qualification in the field of Educational Sciences. They must also submit a preliminary research proposal that aligns with one of the program's research areas.
Graduate profile
Graduates of the program will be able to develop, autonomously and reflectively, scientific research contextualized to problems relevant to educational practice, contributing knowledge and promoting processes of change related to the areas of development, teaching and learning, and cultural, psychosocial and organizational practices of educational institutions from the interdisciplinary approach of Educational Psychology.
