goals
The overall objective of the Master's Program is to train graduates specializing in the intervention of architectural heritage, through the understanding of creative conservation processes in physical and habitable environments to contribute to increasing the richness and cultural memory of the society in which they are inserted.
Applicant Profile
Bachelor's degree or a professional qualification in the area, whose level, content and duration of studies correspond to training equivalent to that of the Bachelor's degree of the University of Chile.
Graduate profile
Graduates of the Program will be trained to:
1.- To practice in the professional and academic field with the broadest and deepest command of built heritage, in order to integrate it into the sustainable development of our society.
2.- To understand, analyze and critically reflect on the cultural complexity and multi-scalarity of built heritage.
3.- To propose and develop projects or interventions at various scales and contexts, with a current and creative vision on the pre-existing conditions (AFE).
4.- Participate in individual or multidisciplinary research projects that contribute intellectual and operational criteria that allow the notion of heritage to be highly valued, as well as understanding and solving problems related to it (THESIS).
