goals
The Program seeks to train a professional specialist integrating the subject matter, through the understanding of the processes of Residential Habitat production and the link with the academic field, the agents that participate in its conservation, improvement and/or creation can contribute to increasing the capacity to exercise citizenship and to the improvement of the quality of life of the inhabitants.
Applicant Profile
Bachelor's degree and/or professional title whose level, content, and duration of studies correspond to training equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from the University of Chile. Basic knowledge in the field of habitat and territory. Proficiency in another language.
Graduate profile
Graduates of the Program will be trained to:
1. Design and/or develop application projects considering the different socio-political, cultural, economic, physical, accessibility, and other relevant aspects of the territory, whether neighborhood, district, town, or region, in order to integrate these different aspects into their proposals. (AFE)
2. Formulate individual or multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research projects that contribute from the perspective of advanced knowledge, applying the scientific method to solve problems related to Residential Habitat. (THESIS).
3.- Apply, whether in the professional or academic field, criteria of respect for diversity and interculturality, regulations with sustainability criteria in order to contribute with an ethical sense to the solutions related to Residential Habitat that promote the quality of life of the inhabitants and their environment, as appropriate.
