goals

1.- To train professionals at the forefront of knowledge in Territorial Development and Management, with a focus on current academic debate and considering the best Latin American practices for this purpose;
2. To equip graduates with the skills and competencies to address and resolve the demands of regional and local communities, in a democratic, socio-participatory context that respects diversity and social inclusion.
3. To generate a critical mass of professionals who develop their own knowledge in the management of subnational governments, promoting critical thinking in this regard.
4.- To promote national territorial development through policies and management practices based on knowledge and empirical evidence, improvements in current institutional development and appropriate social and political feasibility for transformative territorial strategies.

Applicant Profile

Applicants must meet the following requirement: Hold a Bachelor's degree or professional title whose level, content, and duration of studies correspond to training equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from the University of Chile, as determined by the corresponding Academic Committee. In the case of holding academic degrees from abroad, these must be equivalent to those mentioned above and duly apostilled.

Graduate profile

In this context, our postgraduate student must be able to perform successfully in the various areas of administration of the decentralized levels of government (sub-national level), both in areas of management, planning, advising, as well as applied studies, considering a high level of knowledge regarding the Chilean and foreign sub-national sector.
