Its objective is to strengthen the professional capabilities of students, providing conceptual instruments and practical tools, so that in their different areas of work performance they have the necessary knowledge and background, based on a greater understanding and a better capacity for analysis regarding the complexities of international economic negotiation processes.

Applicant Profile

To hold a bachelor's degree or professional title, awarded by national or foreign universities, or by higher education institutes, whose level, content and duration of studies correspond to training equivalent to that of a bachelor's degree at the University of Chile, as determined by the Academic Committee of the Program.

Graduate profile

Gain knowledge of the principles of Political Economy, norms and institutions, and integration processes. Understand and apply quantitative methodologies to the commercial realities of different countries. Understand, through practical tools, the challenges faced by stakeholders in international strategy and trade policy decision-making. Gain knowledge, from various disciplinary perspectives, of the complexities of the public and private sectors in their relationship with issues of international trade integration.
