goals

The overall objective of the Program is to train researchers in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering, based on fundamental and applied research for the development of activities associated with technological advancement in the areas of Mineral Processing, Extractive Processes and Materials Science and Engineering.
3. The specific objectives of the program are:
a) To train graduates who contribute to the development of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering.
b) To promote R&D&I projects that contribute to knowledge and generate value for the technological development of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering.
c) To promote the strengthening of research, technological development and community engagement activities in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering at the national and international level.
d) To promote, orally and in writing, the dissemination of knowledge generated in research activities through national and international scientific media.
