goals
The objective of the Master of Science in Engineering with a specialization in Applied Mathematics is to train high-level graduates capable of integrating research and technological development teams in areas where a high degree of specialization in mathematical modeling is required.
Applicant Profile
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree or a Professional Title, and their level, content, and duration of study correspond to equivalent training provided by the University of Chile, as determined by the Program's Academic Committee. Applicants must demonstrate prior training relevant to the aims and requirements of the program to which they are applying. The Academic Committee may require that, in addition to reviewing applicants' credentials, their knowledge and skills in the program's disciplines be evaluated. This evaluation may consist of an examination or other mechanisms that objectively verify their level of preparation.
Graduate profile
Graduates will be qualified to provide advice in applied mathematics to other scientific or technological areas, and to begin research or continue doctoral studies.
