To train professionals with research knowledge and skills that allow them to study, from different theoretical and methodological perspectives, phenomena and problems in the field of Educational Sciences that contribute to educational improvement in different contexts and from an ethical perspective based on Christian anthropology.
Applicant Profile
The program is designed for professionals with a bachelor's degree or professional qualification, preferably in the field of education. Applicants are expected to be interested in developing skills to conduct research that enhances the understanding and/or explanation of educational phenomena within the field of Educational Sciences. Furthermore, they should be committed to self-directed learning, professional reflection, collaborative work, and academic rigor.
Graduate profile
Graduates of this program demonstrate theoretical and practical knowledge of Educational Sciences to contribute to educational improvement. They possess the knowledge and skills to develop educational research processes using quantitative, qualitative, or integrated methods, depending on the nature of the research problem. They are able to communicate research results according to established quality criteria for social research, employing knowledge generated through ethical practice based on Christian anthropology.

1) Teacher training and professional development:
The new scenarios and constant challenges facing the teaching profession demand the generation of new knowledge within the Educational Sciences regarding professional training and development. The topics addressed in this area are:
Knowledge of didactics, evaluation and curriculum.
Knowledge, professional learning and educational innovation.
Leadership and educational management processes.
Development of professional learning communities.
Integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for learning and educational innovation.
2) Student teaching and learning:
The need for continuous improvement in teaching and learning requires the development of relevant knowledge and skills. Additionally, research aims to promote inclusion and the development of transversal skills for learning. The topics addressed in this area are:
