General objective
TO TRAIN HIGHER LEVEL GRADUATES IN THE FIELD OF PHILOSOPHY WHO POSSESS A SUBSTANTIAL CAPACITY FOR RESEARCH AND PHILOSOPHICAL REFLECTION ON CENTRAL PROBLEMS OF PRACTICAL AND THEORETICAL PHILOSOPHY.

Specific objectives
-To develop the conceptual and analytical skills necessary for students to begin academic research on some of the main problems of Western philosophy, in specialized or interdisciplinary academic contexts.
– To provide the necessary preparation so that students can, if they so wish, continue their postgraduate training in doctoral programs, whether in philosophy or in other related disciplines.
– To develop the argumentative skills necessary for students to communicate the results of philosophical research and discuss philosophical problems, either orally or in writing.

The Master's program in Philosophy is aimed at graduates in Philosophy or related fields who seek to acquire advanced philosophical training

Applicants to the program must demonstrate the potential to formulate philosophical arguments clearly and precisely, both orally and in writing, and an interest in developing a rigorous, critical, and independent exploration of abstract and fundamental questions.

Graduates of the Master's program in Philosophy possess the necessary skills to conduct rigorous and critical philosophical research with a reasonable degree of independence. They are open to interdisciplinary collaboration and sensitive to the challenges and needs of a complex and changing social context.
The graduate possesses tools to communicate and discuss results of philosophical research, to carry out philosophical or interdisciplinary research, and to continue their postgraduate training with doctoral studies, whether in philosophy or in other related disciplines.

– Value, action, and culture: problems of ethics and philosophical anthropology. This line of research addresses questions related to the normativity, meaning, and rationality of human action. Mind, knowledge, and reality: problems of metaphysics and epistemology. This line of research addresses questions concerning the fundamental nature and structure of reality and our ways of representing and accessing it.
