General objective
To specialize professionals by giving them a solid education in ergonomics, so that they are able to interact with different sectors of the economy, in commitment to the scientific and technological development of the sciences that study the human being at work and in the various activities of society.
Specific objectives
– To train graduates with the skills to diagnose ergonomic problems in a timely and effective manner.
– To train a graduate capable of integrating into multidisciplinary teams to respond to the ergonomic problems faced by companies and institutions.
– To develop in students the ability to generate recommendations that allow for a significant improvement in work systems, technologies and the quality of life of people.
Applicant Profile
Applicants wishing to enter the program are required to demonstrate a connection to the discipline, work in ergonomics or related areas, and present background information that demonstrates their ability to join the master's program. They must also state the reason for their application, demonstrate interest and a positive attitude towards the teaching and learning process, indicate how they intend to use the acquired skills, and have the resources to support themselves throughout the program.
Graduate profile
Graduates of this program possess the skills to assess the conditions within a work environment, intervene, and promote an equitable balance between work demands and employee well-being. Therefore, upon completion of the training, graduates will have developed the following competencies.
Lines of investigation
– This program has as its sole area of specialization Ergonomics, which integrates knowledge of work physiology, anthropometry and biomechanics, physical environment, cognitive ergonomics, organizational ergonomics, product design and applied ergonomics.
