In all cases, the Program Committee will evaluate the applicant&#039;s academic background. Additionally, applicants must have a minimum of two years of work experience in the discipline or areas of study of the Program.<br \/>\nFor applicants who are foreign nationals, the same requirements apply as for applicants of Chilean nationality; however, the certificates must be legalized following the procedures established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education of Chile.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"postulante\">\n<h6>Graduate profile<\/h6>\n<p>1 Main areas of knowledge: The graduate of the Master&#039;s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Santiago de Chile possesses knowledge in the areas of: production and operations management theory, conceptual and mathematical modeling of operational and\/or organizational phenomena, advanced methods in economic and financial engineering, technological management and innovation, management theory and strategic management.<br \/>\n2. Professional Skills \u2013 Abilities: The Master in Industrial Engineering at the University of Santiago, Chile develops the following professional skills and abilities upon graduation:<br \/>\n2.1 General Skills: Working in a team, exercising leadership in complex organizational situations, creatively facing management challenges, acting with a critical sense, using analytical thinking in the search for solutions, communicating effectively in different contexts and groups, and discriminating technically and ethically the professional situations that are addressed.<br \/>\n2.2 Generic Specialized Skills:<br \/>\na) To formulate, independently, business and organizational development projects, to present management and development results in professional and business communities applying industrial engineering tools.<br \/>\nb) Analyze organizational and productive phenomena that it faces, implement solutions and prototypes in productive systems.<br \/>\n2.3 Specific Specialized Skills:<br \/>\na) Generate innovative solutions to organizational and operational problems using industrial engineering problem-solving methods<br \/>\nb) Design productive and organizational systems, conceptually modeling organizational and operational systems and problems.<br \/>\n3 Attitudes and values: The graduate of the Master&#039;s in Industrial Engineering from the University of Santiago de Chile possesses the following attitudes and values: handling work in complex situations, seeking information to substantiate arguments, taking an interest in what is happening in the environment, respect for the environment, proposing solutions that positively impact society, rigor in addressing organizational problems, acting responsibly towards professional and social commitments, understanding and respecting different approaches, demonstrating ethical-professional behavior, showing proactivity in their work, and striving for excellence in professional practice.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"investigacion\">\n<h6>Lines of investigation<\/h6>\n<p>1.
