Develop a training program for public managers based on four areas of knowledge: Public Management, Economics and Public Policy, Environmental Management, and Leadership. 2. Generate competencies that are consistent with the profile of Senior Public Manager as defined by the government&#039;s SADP, namely: Strategic Vision, Management and Achievement, Relationship with the Environment and Networking, Crisis and Contingency Management, Leadership, and Innovation and Flexibility<br \/>\n3. Complement management training with a set of skills conducive to research from an analytical and critical perspective, enabling the identification of public problems, the proposal of policies to address them, the design of their implementation, the evaluation of policies, programs and projects, the proposal of well-founded initiatives, and the solid research in various related areas, both quantitatively and qualitatively.<br \/>\n4.- To train professionals interested in developing activities linked to objectives of public interest, enabling them to perform their professional work better, to analyze the problems to whose solution they are contributing, to train other professionals and to work as a team.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"postulante\">\n<h6>Applicant Profile<\/h6>\n<p>Applicants must meet the following requirement: Hold a Bachelor&#039;s degree or professional title whose level, content, and duration of studies correspond to training equivalent to a Bachelor&#039;s degree from the University of Chile, as determined by the corresponding Academic Committee. In the case of holding academic degrees from abroad, these must be equivalent to those mentioned above and duly apostilled.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"postulante\">\n<h6>Graduate profile<\/h6>\n<p>The graduate possesses an interdisciplinary perspective on public affairs and is capable of performing government and public management functions at the intermediate and senior levels, both central, regional, and local. They excel both in their technical training and in developing competencies consistent with the guidelines of a Public Sector Manager, enabling them, through analytical and strategic thinking, to perform their duties in public institutions, NGOs, and private organizations. Furthermore, they are a leader in management who drives the modernization of public administration with a commitment to the values of public ethics, such as probity, equity, justice, humanism, and transparency. They also have a deep respect for citizens&#039; rights and a commitment to making the public sector a fundamental actor in the democratic process of our country.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"investigacion\">\n<h6>Lines of investigation<\/h6>\n<p>The Master&#039;s program in Government and Public Management is structured around two areas of study: required and elective courses. The required courses cover essential aspects that public managers need to perform effectively in their roles. These include courses in Public Policy, Management, Economics, Leadership Skills, and General Education.
