To stimulate interdisciplinary integration in the creation of knowledge in the health field. To facilitate the integration of scientific research with clinical needs in the health field. To promote ethical considerations in research involving human subjects.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"postulante\">\n<h6>Applicant Profile<\/h6>\n<p>The program is aimed at Chilean and foreign professionals in the health sciences and related fields who hold a bachelor&#039;s degree or higher. Applicants must hold a bachelor&#039;s degree or an equivalent professional university degree obtained from a university recognized by the State of Chile, or, in the case of foreign institutions, by the State of the corresponding country. Candidates must pass the selection process.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"postulante\">\n<h6>Graduate profile<\/h6>\n<p>Graduates of the Master&#039;s Program in Health Sciences Research are professionals capable of: (a) Integrating theories and models of reflection regarding the principles and values that must be respected when conducting research in and with human beings, valuing and appropriately integrating their diversity and cultural aspects. (b) Detecting and approaching diseases from a comprehensive perspective that includes basic, social, and clinical sciences. (c) Developing proposals for the methodological development of a research project based on the formulation of clinical questions, which allow for the identification and proposal of interdisciplinary solutions to local health problems. (d) Incorporating the most widely used statistical techniques in scientific research in Health Sciences, applying them to a dataset using statistical software, interpreting the results of an analysis, and integrating these elements as steps of the scientific method, valuing the method as the way in which science generates new knowledge.
