Applicants must be proactive and have the capacity for self-directed learning, with motivation and effective dedication being key factors in their work.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"postulante\">\n<h6>Graduate profile<\/h6>\n<p>The graduate of the Master&#039;s in Mechanical Engineering will have the following competencies:<br \/>\n\u2013 Demonstrate conceptual and methodological mastery in the formulation, characterization and solution of problems in the discipline.<br \/>\n\u2013 Characterize relevant problems in the disciplinary area, identifying the possible impacts in the context in which they occur.<br \/>\n\u2013 To propose solutions to complex problems within their area of expertise by critically analyzing the phenomena and variables involved.<br \/>\n\u2013 Critically evaluate one&#039;s own and peers&#039; scientific and technological work, arguing one&#039;s position based on scientific criteria.<br \/>\n\u2013 Formulate research projects in your discipline, based on current scientific and technological standards for competitive funding*.<br \/>\n\u2013 Develop research as part of work teams, on topics related to Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on their area of specialization, demonstrating proactivity and responsibility*.<br \/>\n\u2013 To organize and communicate relevant information, results and findings of the research, orally and in writing in academic contexts.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"investigacion\">\n<h6>Lines of investigation<\/h6>\n<p>\u2013 Thermofluids: a line of research focused on applied research in areas based on thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer, such as environmental conditioning, combustion, industrial refrigeration, computational fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, among others.<br \/>\n\u2013 Applied Mechanics: a line of research focused on applied research in areas based on solid mechanics, dynamics and materials science, such as mechanical vibrations, modeling and
