They possess the skills and competencies to develop energy generation, transmission, and conversion projects, along with sustainable and efficient management practices. They are able to communicate research and development results with high-quality standards, adhering to ethical principles based on Christian anthropology.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"investigacion\">\n<h6>Lines of investigation<\/h6>\n<p>Energy and Fuels<\/p>\n<p>The focus of this research area is basic and applied research related to energy transformation through the production, use, application, and sustainable management of non-renewable fuels (wood, coal, oil, and gas) using physical and chemical processes involving heat transfer, as well as renewable energy sources (solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, and hydroelectric). With a comprehensive approach, the program ensures its contribution to the graduate profile by evaluating the impact of non-renewable and renewable fuel use on energy systems, with a focus on sustainability, energy efficiency, climate change, and economics.<\/p>\n<p>Energy Control and Conversion<\/p>\n<p>The focus of this research area is on electrical and mechanical energy conversion and transmission systems, as well as the theoretical foundations and practical application of control and automation for electrical drives and industrial processes that transform materials into a variety of products. This is supported by machines that minimize the need for human intervention and instrumentation capable of processing, storing, managing, and disseminating electronic information in multiple formats (signals, images, and absorption or emission spectra), with a comprehensive approach aimed at achieving maximum system efficiency.
