The required documents are as follows:<br \/>\n\u2022 Certificate proving possession of a Bachelor&#039;s degree or a professional title whose level and content of studies are equivalent to those necessary to obtain a Bachelor&#039;s degree.<br \/>\n\u2022 Two letters of recommendation, issued by academics or professionals of recognized prestige, relating to the applicant&#039;s ability and aptitude.<br \/>\n\u2022 Letter from the applicant justifying their application, accompanied by their curriculum vitae. Degree or diploma certificates and academic transcripts must be originals or certified copies.<br \/>\n\u2022 Two passport-sized photographs (3\u00d74 cm).<br \/>\n\u2022 Certificate attesting to adequate command of the Spanish language for those who do not have it as their native language.<br \/>\n\u2022 Preliminary educational research project to be worked on during the Master&#039;s program.<br \/>\n\u2022 Certification or approval of a foreign language (English, French or German) through a comprehension exam during the first year of study.<br \/>\n\u2022 Complete form No. 301 from the Postgraduate Directorate<br \/>\nAs part of the selection process, after receiving the background information and verifying its relevance, all applicants are required to conduct a personal interview with the program committee, which is conducted in person or via Skype, the latter especially for foreign applicants.<br \/>\nThe admissions process is annual and requires that applications be submitted to the Graduate School Secretariat of the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities between March 1 and November 30 of each year. The Program Committee may review applications submitted outside of these dates; however, it should be noted that such applications may fall outside the application periods for national (CONICYT) and international (Chilean International Cooperation Agency) postgraduate scholarship competitions.<br \/>\nEspecially relevant in this process is the submission of a preliminary research proposal, both for the general evaluation and for the personal interview with the Program Committee. Those submitting documentation in advance as a result of their application to Scholarship Competitions may submit the &quot;preliminary research proposal&quot; document until November 30th of each year. Documents are preferably received within this timeframe, taking into account the dates and requirements of the various CONICYT Scholarship Competitions or other international agencies.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"postulante\">\n<h6>Graduate profile<\/h6>\n<p>A graduate of the Program will be able to:<br \/>\na. To generate situated and interdisciplinary knowledge in the field of Educational Sciences, contributing to professional development and multidimensional improvement of the quality and equity of education.<br \/>\nb. Develop autonomous research, based on significant and relevant theoretical and methodological training, that allows them to contribute to decision-making in the organizational contexts in which they work.<br \/>\nc. Integrate the domains of scientific and professional development in the field of educational management and policy, with a focus on research processes aimed at understanding and solving educational problems at various scales.<br \/>\nd. To assume a critical stance regarding educational contingency, based on a professional, ethical, and political agency.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"investigacion\">\n<h6>Lines of investigation<\/h6>\n<p>The Program focuses on researching the diversity of contemporary management and policy guidelines, from global and local approaches that allow addressing the processes of administrative and curricular decentralization, the increasing complexity of management models, the dynamics of teacher training and identity, technological mediations in innovation processes, and interdisciplinary dynamics in school culture.<br \/>\nIn summary, their lines of research are structured around the following axes:<br \/>\n1. Micro-macro educational policy and teacher development<br \/>\n2. School management, identity and educational transformation<br \/>\n3.
