To train advanced human resources in the areas of planning and management<br \/>\nterritorial, through the deepening of the systemic and interdisciplinary study of the<br \/>\ncomponents and processes that occur in the territory, providing theoretical and methodological elements and using tools to support critical analysis as a basis for proposed solutions to territorial organization problems, at different scales of intervention.<br \/>\n2. Generate proposals and direct territorial planning and management processes, aimed at<br \/>\nthe proposal and implementation of sustainable territorial models in accordance with local development requirements.<br \/>\n3. To promote and contribute to the sustainable and equitable development of the Region, to address the problems of land management, providing appropriate solutions to the context in which they occur, contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of the people who live there.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"postulante\">\n<h6>Applicant Profile<\/h6>\n<p>The applicant profile states that professionals from around the world may apply.<br \/>\npublic and private entities related to territorial planning and\/or management, with an interest in<br \/>\nThis program delves into the concepts, methods, and techniques for analyzing and understanding territorial systems. It is open to professionals from diverse fields, making professional interest and performance a key factor in the selection process. It is primarily aimed at geographers, environmental engineers, forestry engineers, geologists, and other engineers.<br \/>\nAgronomists, Civil Engineers, Architects, Ecologists, Economists, Sociologists,<br \/>\nand related degrees.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"postulante\">\n<h6>Graduate profile<\/h6>\n<p>The graduation profile includes the development and evidence of the following competencies or performances:<br \/>\n1. Critically analyze the multifactorial nature of territorial processes, the potential and limitations of the environment, in order to allow the sustainable development of human groups.<br \/>\n2. Apply geotechnological tools that support research or decision-making at the territorial level.<br \/>\n3. Implement participatory processes to achieve the goals of territorial planning within the legal and institutional framework of Chilean legislation.<br \/>\n4. Proposes and leads territorial planning and management processes, considering the multiple interactions between technical, economic, social and environmental factors.<br \/>\n5. Generates research to address specific professional problems applied to the territorial field.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"investigacion\">\n<h6>Lines of investigation<\/h6>\n<p>The Master&#039;s development lines are:<\/p>\n<p>1.
