Graduates will be able to apply their proposed solutions to other companies both within Chile and abroad, thus seizing development opportunities in private and public institutions by applying engineering principles based on product, service, and process innovation. Furthermore, the program will catalyze and foster cooperation among academia, industry, and society in areas of impact and development for the northern macrozone, such as mining, energy, natural resources, and desert habitability.<br \/>\nSpecific objectives<br \/>\n\u2022 Strengthen relevant technical skills that will allow you to successfully address real problems in companies, industries or institutions in the main development areas present in the northern macrozone of Chile.<br \/>\n\u2022 To develop the necessary skills to add value to the proposed solutions, so that they meet the characteristics of innovative solutions.<br \/>\n\u2022 Develop the skills to formulate industrial and technological protection management models and business models through technology transfer.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"postulante\">\n<h6>Applicant Profile<\/h6>\n<p>The Master&#039;s Program in Applied Engineering is designed for professionals with an engineering degree and\/or the required bachelor&#039;s degree, according to the application requirements, who wish to specialize in theoretical and practical approaches focused on the technological solution of problems with a high degree of innovation. Admission from other professions and\/or degrees may be evaluated by the Program Council (Program Committee).<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"postulante\">\n<h6>Graduate profile<\/h6>\n<p>Graduates of the Master&#039;s Program in Applied Engineering, jointly offered by the University of Antofagasta and the Catholic University of the North, are professionals capable of linking scientific research with engineering practice through the development of R&amp;D&amp;I projects that add value to both private and public organizations. Their solid theoretical and practical foundation allows them to contribute to solving problems in areas of impact and development in the northern macro-region, such as mining, energy, natural resources, and desert habitability, through a research process and the application of engineering principles for the development and innovation of processes, products, and\/or services. They focus on technological solutions and their transfer, enabling early participation in key technologies for industrial development.
