The first is for Industrial Chemistry students, who will be admitted directly through the articulation mechanism described above. The second pathway is for external applicants. Those interested in applying to the Master of Science program with a specialization in Chemistry must hold a Bachelor&#039;s degree in a Science-related field with a minimum duration of four years and a grade point average of 5.0 or higher on the Chilean scale. Personally, applicants should be students with critical thinking skills and an interest in exploring the cutting edge of research in the discipline. They should have strong self-directed learning and teamwork skills, and be capable of systematic and disciplined work. Furthermore, they must have sufficient knowledge of Spanish and English.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"postulante\">\n<h6>Graduate profile<\/h6>\n<p>The graduate of the Master of Science program with a specialization in Chemistry at the Catholic University of the North is a researcher with solid knowledge in theoretical and experimental chemistry, who carries out his work being socially responsible in the search for knowledge, and performs his duties respecting the environment and the dignity of all under high ethical standards.<br \/>\nShe stands out for her self-learning ability, teamwork skills, efficient use of technology, and scientific rigor, which allows her to collaborate on basic and\/or applied research projects with scientific groups. She is able to effectively communicate the results of her research.
