Graduates will be able to develop research independently, integrate teams, communicate scientific information in different contexts, and propose scientific-technological solutions to discipline problems.<\/p>\n<p>Specific objectives:<br \/>\n- To train advanced human capital in Chemical Engineering for the development of the country, which proposes scientific-technological solutions to problems of the discipline, promoting their integration and multidisciplinary interaction.<br \/>\n- Contribute to the generation of a solid and advanced scientific base in the fundamentals that sustain Chemical Engineering.<br \/>\n- To promote in graduates the constant updating and advancement of Chemical Engineering Sciences, scientific communication and technology transfer in national and international contexts.<br \/>\n- Contribute to the interaction between researchers from academia, the industrial sector and technological research institutes to solve complex problems in chemical engineering sciences, through the use of scientific knowledge<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"postulante\">\n<h6>Applicant Profile<\/h6>\n<p>The applicant must show antecedents that support their marked interest in scientific research, as well as their vocation to incorporate, generate and transmit knowledge.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"postulante\">\n<h6>Graduate profile<\/h6>\n<p>- Show conceptual, theoretical and methodological management in Chemical Engineering.<br \/>\n- Characterize and critically analyze phenomena and processes of Chemical Engineering and its related fields.<br \/>\n- Design and formulate scientific \/ technological research projects in Chemical Engineering and its related fields.<br \/>\n- Evaluate and propose solutions to problems associated with the specialty, individually or by integrating research teams.<br \/>\n- Develop research to generate validated scientific knowledge and communicate it in academic and technological contexts.<br \/>\nCompetences 1, 2, 4 and 5 are addressed homogeneously by all the basic and specialization subjects of the program. Competition 3 is addressed during the development of the Doctoral Thesis, in addition to some subjects.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"investigacion\">\n<h6>Lines of investigation<\/h6>\n<p>- Biomaterials
