{"id":1527,"date":"2016-09-12T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-09-12T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2021-12-20T19:05:56","modified_gmt":"2021-12-20T19:05:56","slug":"603c6d80815bf","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/consejoderectores.cl\/en\/2016\/09\/12\/603c6d80815bf\/","title":{"rendered":"CRUCH Postgraduate Commission brought together representatives of their universities, CNA and CONICYT"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<blockquote>\n<div>The event, organized by the Council of Rectors, brought together different perspectives on internationalization, postgraduate training, accreditation, Performance Agreements, and scholarships for master&#039;s and doctoral programs.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #500050; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;\"><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', 'Bitstream Charter', Times, serif; font-size: 16px;\">The Working Session of the Postgraduate Commission of the Council of Rectors, held on Tuesday, September 8, brought together Vice-Rectors of Research, Directors of Doctoral and Postgraduate Programs, as well as academics from the CRUCH universities, who shared experiences regarding postgraduate training and internationalization projects aimed at strengthening university international ties, among other topics.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>At the meeting, held at the Extension Center of the Pontifical Catholic University (PUC), the Secretary General of the Council of Rectors, Mar\u00eda Isabel Munita, and the Vice-Rector of Research and Doctorate of the PUC, Sol Serrano, were in charge of welcoming the participants.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The activity, which lasted for more than six hours, featured as speakers the Executive Secretary of the National Accreditation Commission (CNA), Paula Beale, and the Director of the Department of Advanced Human Capital of the National Commission for Scientific and Technological Research (CONICYT), Daniel Portales.<\/div>\n<div>During the morning, Paula Beale gave a presentation on the postgraduate accreditation process, highlighting the latest modifications to the regulations, pointing out the most frequent errors made when submitting documentation, and analyzing the postgraduate programs at CRUCH universities that are undergoing accreditation. Following her presentation, a question-and-answer session was held to allow for interaction with the attendees.<\/div>\n<h4>\u00a0Internationalization Panel<\/h4>\n<p>Later, a panel comprised of representatives from six CRUCH universities shared their experiences in internationalization supported by Performance Agreements.
