{"id":1467,"date":"2014-09-04T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2014-09-04T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2022-01-17T20:34:52","modified_gmt":"2022-01-17T20:34:52","slug":"603c6d807e931","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/consejoderectores.cl\/en\/2014\/09\/04\/603c6d807e931\/","title":{"rendered":"Joint Work Stay of the SCT-Chile of the CRUCH Universities"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>The meeting brought together about 250 people, including Academic Vice-Rectors, Research Vice-Rectors, representatives of private universities, professional institutes and technical training centers and the SCT-Chile Network, made up of the Institutional Technical Officers of SCT-Chile and the SCT-Chile Postgraduate Officers of the universities belonging to the Council of Rectors.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>On September 4th and 5th, the SCT-Chile Joint Working Stay took place, led by the University of Santiago de Chile and organized by the SCT-Chile Network Coordinating Team at the Plaza San Francisco Hotel in the city of Santiago.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#039;s program began with an opening session open to all Higher Education Institutions in the country. Its main objective was to create a space for discussion on the current state of the Transferable Credit System in Chile. The session was opened by the Rector of the University of Santiago, Dr. Juan Manuel Zolezzi, and also included the participation of Dr. Francisco Mart\u00ednez Concha, Head of the Higher Education Division, and Dr. Fernanda Kri, Vice-Rector of the University of Santiago and Director of the USA 1301 Project.<\/p>\n<p>The inauguration had a large turnout with around 250 people participating, including Academic Vice-Rectors, Research Vice-Rectors, Representatives of Private Universities, Professional Institutes and Technical Training Centers and the SCT-Chile Network made up of the Institutional Technical Officers of SCT-Chile and Postgraduate Officers of SCT-Chile from the universities belonging to the Council of Rectors (CRUCH).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, during this working day, topics such as the definitions of the competencies of a graduate of a postgraduate program, characteristics of an innovative curriculum in postgraduate studies, and a review of the instruments for estimating the academic workload of postgraduate students were discussed.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El encuentro congreg\u00f3 a cerca de 250 personas, entre vicerrectores Acad\u00e9micos, vicerrectores de Investigaci\u00f3n, representantes de las universidades privadas, institutos profesionales y centros de formaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica y la Red SCT-Chile, compuesta por los Encargados T\u00e9cnicos Institucionales del SCT-Chile y Encargados en posgrado del SCT-Chile de las universidades pertenecientes al Consejo de Rectores.
