With ceremonies at various universities across the country, the Council of Rectors recognized the top-scoring students on the PSU university entrance exam. In Santiago, the Catholic University welcomed more than 170 young people.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Council of Rectors, through its member universities, recognized the students who achieved perfect scores on university entrance exams. In Santiago, the event was held at the Pontifical Catholic University and brought together more than 170 students. It was presided over by Rectors Ignacio S\u00e1nchez, Ennio Vivaldi, and Jaime Espinosa, as well as representatives from the Metropolitan Technological University, Marisol Dur\u00e1n, and the University of Santiago, Pedro Palominos.<\/p>\n

At the ceremony, students from the Metropolitan Region and the O'Higgins Region were recognized. The latter received greetings from the Regional Secretary of Education for the Sixth Region, Alyson Hadad.<\/p>\n

Ceremony in regions<\/h4>\n

In Valpara\u00edso, the ceremony was held at the University of Playa Ancha and awarded 10 young people. It was attended by Ricardo Bravo, Regional Governor of Valpara\u00edso; Omar Jara, Provincial Governor of Valpara\u00edso; Javiera Serrano, Regional Secretary of Education; and the rectors Darcy Fuenzalida (Federico Santa Mar\u00eda Technical University), Aldo Valle (University of Valpara\u00edso), and Claudio El\u00f3rtegui (Pontifical Catholic University of Valpara\u00edso).<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Austral University recognized five students at an event led by Rector \u00d3scar Galindo.<\/p>\n

In the northern region, the University of Atacama presented awards to five students. Present at the ceremony were Rector Dr. Celso Arias Mora, Regional Governor Miguel Vargas Correa, and Regional Secretary of Education Pilar Soto Rivas. The Arturo Prat University held a similar ceremony, led by Rector Gustavo Soto Bringas, and attended by Senator Fulvio Rossi and other regional authorities.<\/p>\n

In the Seventh Region, the University of Talca honored 21 students, including seven who achieved top national scores and 14 who achieved top regional scores. The event was attended by the Regional Secretary of Education, Rigoberto Espinoza, as well as the Vice-Rector of the University of Talca, Pablo Villalobos, and the Rector of the Catholic University of Maule (UCM), Diego Dur\u00e1n.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
