The visit was valued by the rector of the University of Yachay, Fernando Albericio, who assured that Chilean institutions represent a group of special interest for building networks of collaboration and exchange, considering the quality of scientific work in our country.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Academic authorities from universities of the Council of Rectors \u2013 University of Chile, University of Antofagasta and University of Talca \u2013 were received by the Rector of Yachay, Fernando Albericio, sharing information about the progress and challenges of this new university in Ecuador.<\/p>\n

For Rector Albericio, the Yachay project is unique in Latin America and represents a space for attraction and innovation in academic development that will have a significant impact on the quality of life of the local, national, and regional community. He believes that Chilean universities represent a group of particular interest for building collaborative and exchange networks, given the quality of scientific work in Chile.<\/p>\n

Yachay is a research, innovation, and internationalization university and is one of Ecuador's most important and strategic projects. Its launch this year will promote scientific research, the generation and dissemination of knowledge based on basic and applied research, the development of human talent, and the creation of national and international knowledge networks.<\/p>\n

The visit to Yachay generated great interest among the CRUCH group and ideas were shared to open an academic collaboration between Chilean universities and this new and innovative Ecuadorian university.<\/p>\n

The visit program was coordinated by Mar\u00eda Francisca Bustamante of SENESCYT within the framework of the exchange days carried out with the Council of Rectors.<\/p>\n
