During the meeting, the Minister expressed his Ministry&#039;s willingness to engage in dialogue with the Council of Rectors and receive their proposals for developing the projects that will bring higher education reform to fruition. Upon leaving the meeting, the Minister stated that he had &quot;had some time to listen to opinions, to hear positions, and I am very pleased to have listened to you,&quot; referring to his conversation with the rectors.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, the Council of Rectors agreed to form rectors&#039; committees to develop and systematize their proposals for the educational reform process. For this purpose, the committees on Institutional Framework, Accreditation, Access, and Financing were formed.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the Council defined its active participation in the National Citizen Participation Plan of the Ministry of Education; the CRUCH representatives in the dialogue tables convened by the MINEDUC and which begin their work on July 28 will come from the aforementioned commissions.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, a group of 14 universities from the Council signed a collaboration agreement as part of the Inter-University Network for Education and Interculturality (RIEDI).
