The authorities of the CRUCH universities, with the participation of Rector Sergio Bravo, from the University of La Frontera, discussed curricular innovation, teacher training and equity in the system.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The group of academic vice-rectors of CRUCH, along with the presence of the rector of the University of La Frontera, Sergio Bravo, met to discuss and learn about the experiences of change that the universities belonging to the council are developing, which were presented in various presentations.<\/p>\n

The first, presented by academics Andr\u00e9s Bernasconi and Paula Clasing from the Pontifical Catholic University, focused on the field of public policies in initial teacher training \u2013 both in Chile and in the world \u2013 along with the change strategies promoted by the CRUCH universities.<\/p>\n

The second presentation was given by Roxana Pey and Francisco Dur\u00e1n from the University of Chile. They presented progress in the area of curricular and academic innovations, emphasizing the importance of advancing public policies with a global and systemic vision. It is worth noting that the Council of Rectors has made progress and prepared the ground for changes, citing the SCT system as an example.<\/p>\n

Regarding the challenges associated with equity in higher education, the group from the University of Santiago, made up of Lorena L\u00f3pez and Paulina P\u00e9rez, presented an analysis of conceptual distinctions, from which they are compiling and analyzing both the current policies and the programs promoted by the universities of the Council of Rectors.<\/p>\n

Finally, the director of the Single Admission System of the Council of Rectors, Mar\u00eda Elena Gonz\u00e1lez, presented and explained to the vice-rectors the guidelines, organization and work plan of this, highlighting the importance of maintaining a permanent dialogue in order to socialize and share the guidelines of the changes that will be implemented progressively.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
