The purpose of this meeting was to discuss successful experiences and define strategies for the near future.<\/p>\n<p>While acknowledging the importance of the Chile-California Council as a collaborative networking platform, the researchers noted that a more equitable relationship with international institutions is currently observed. However, deepening and expanding this relationship requires decisions and resources. They added that it is necessary to recognize that Chile is no longer just a source of learning from these institutions, but that it offers a context where new research questions and challenges emerge.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, the group concluded that all those involved need to make renewed efforts and build upon existing relationships. In this endeavor, the Council of Rectors plays a crucial role, engaging other institutions and fostering a collaborative system that includes the mobility of undergraduate students and advanced professionals, the development of related research, and technology management.
