{"id":1137,"date":"2011-11-24T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2011-11-24T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2022-01-26T22:07:50","modified_gmt":"2022-01-26T22:07:50","slug":"603c6d806f4ad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/consejoderectores.cl\/en\/2011\/11\/24\/603c6d806f4ad\/","title":{"rendered":"The Council of Rectors elects Juan Manuel Zolezzi as the new executive vice president"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>The CRUCH plenary session also defined the members of the executive committee for the 2011-2013 period, pending the CUECH&#039;s election of its new president.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In today&#039;s plenary session, the Council of Rectors of Chilean Universities (CRUCH) elected the current rector of the University of Santiago, Juan Manuel Zolezzi, as the new executive vice president and the rector of the University of Concepci\u00f3n, Sergio Lavanchy, as the alternate executive vice president.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, the new executive committee of the Council of Rectors will consist of the new executive vice president, the alternate executive vice president, and the rectors of the University of Bio-Bio, H\u00e9ctor Gaete; the University of Tarapac\u00e1, Emilio Rodr\u00edguez; the Austral University, V\u00edctor Cubillos; and the Pontifical Catholic University, Ignacio S\u00e1nchez.
