{"id":1132,"date":"2011-11-15T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2011-11-15T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2022-01-26T22:14:04","modified_gmt":"2022-01-26T22:14:04","slug":"603c6d806f12a","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/consejoderectores.cl\/en\/2011\/11\/15\/603c6d806f12a\/","title":{"rendered":"Chilean and Argentinian researchers presented projects in the fields of engineering, sustainability, social sciences, and public policy."},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p>On November 8 and 9, dozens of academics and professionals presented their work at the Chilean-Argentine Binational Meeting: Strengthening Innovation Networks, organized by CRUCH universities.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Integration between countries becomes stronger and more lasting as it extends to the fields of education, science, and culture. This was demonstrated by the 36 professionals and academics who participated in the \u201cChilean-Argentine Binational Meeting: Strengthening Innovation Networks,\u201d organized by the Pontifical Catholic University of Valpara\u00edso (PUCV), the University of Valpara\u00edso (UV), and the University of Talca.<\/p>\n<p>The event, which opened at UV and was later held at the PUCV Curauma Campus, brought together researchers from various universities in Argentina and Chile, who form established or emerging groups that study topics of interest, both on one side of the Andes Mountains, in the areas of public policy and social sciences, and engineering and sustainability.<\/p>\n<div>The congress followed the line of the Binational Meetings of Young Researchers of the Chilean-Argentine Bicentennial, held during 2010 and 2011 in Jujuy, Calafate and Buenos Aires (Argentina) and in Valpara\u00edso (Chile), respectively.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The meeting also included panels on academic and scientific cooperation between Argentina and Chile, the consolidated networks of binational projects, and the tools for scientific cooperation.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Los d\u00edas 8 y 9 de noviembre, decenas de acad\u00e9micos y profesionales presentaron sus trabajos en el Encuentro Binacional Chileno-Argentino: Fortaleciendo Redes de Innovaci\u00f3n, organizado por universidades del CRUCH.
