Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand has offered six places for research stays for Council of Rectors universities most affected by the earthquake of February 27.<\/p>\n

The research stays will last four months and can be carried out in the areas of architecture, geography, earth sciences and ecology, engineering, basic sciences, education and psychology.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Victoria University of Wellington has offered the Council of Rectors of Chilean Universities six scholarships for academics and researchers from the universities most affected by the earthquake of February 27.<\/p>\n

The scholarship covers travel and living expenses for selected academics for a period of four months. Selected candidates must have sufficient English proficiency to conduct their research at the University of Victoria.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The application dossier is simple and brief, it must contain:<\/div>\n
    \n
  1. Brief curriculum vitae.<\/li>\n
  2. Letter of intent, which should explain the reasons for developing research at the University of Victoria, the expected results of this stay and the benefits it will bring to your faculty, department or laboratory.<\/li>\n
  3. Welcome letter from the department, program, laboratory of the University of Victoria, highlighting the academic contact with whom the work will be developed and the research facilities during the stay.<\/li>\n
  4. Letter of sponsorship from the university rector's office, explaining the relevance of the research stay for the academic and for the institution.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    The areas for these internships include architecture, geography, earth sciences and ecology, engineering, basic sciences, education, and psychology.
